“When you think about a great place to train as a helicopter pilot 49 North Helicopters, Campbell River and Vancouver Island are, in my opinion, a very good combination: The Island is a very versatile backyard to train in various situations, Campbell River is a beautiful place to be (what a great outdoors!) and last, but not least, I particularly enjoyed the 49 North Helicopters training unit. Jean-Marc and Sheena manage to be very flexible in their organisation (to cope with the weather, for instance!), available and I found interesting their complimentary teaching approach for both groundschool classes and flying sessions.
