April-May

Busy months for 49 North Helicopters Training! Congratulations to our three
students Bastian from Switzerland, Dorian from Qualicum Beach and Brent from
Nanaimo for completing their Commercial Helicopter licenses!
It was a pleasure to train them and we wish them an awesome career in the
aviation. Jean-Francois from Alberta found his first job in the helicopter
industry at Alpine Helicopters in Banff. Congratulations to him and we hope
to see him soon! Also, it was a busy spring for our Bell 206 Long Ranger as
four of our students completed their type ratings on it. Finally, Cameron
from Fort McMurray, returned to complete a mountain course. It was nice to
have him back and we’re sure he enjoyed his time in the mountains around
Campbell River.

The 26th of April, we released a small film of our heli-ski season in
Revelstoke. It seems popular as it’s been shared 160 times to date, with a
total of 13,000 people reached! We love it and you can still watch it as
it’s now featured on our home page. Our pilot JB left Campbell River with
our Astar to fight fires in Northern Alberta. Last but not least, 49
North Helicopters is offering Helicopter Tours from the Campbell River
Airport for the summer, prices starting at $ 49! Details can be found at
49northhelicopters.com/tours. Now, let’s get the summer season started!
